- 74th Annual Armed Forces Day Celebration
- 10 am – ?? pm daily
- Hawthorne, NV
- Hawthorne is America’s Patriotic Home, the location of the largest U.S. Army ammunition depot, and has been celebrating Armed Forces Day for over 74 years. This week-long growing family event has many small activities throughout the week, features a Friday night Fireworks Show, and the main event is the Saturday Community Parade. Other activities through the week include a school patriotic concert, bicycle parade, scavenger hunts, bands, class reunions and other family fun events.
- Many craft and specialty vendors will be setting up starting on Tuesday, and most will be set up by Friday. Local and regional craft artisans will have their unique creations for sale, and other vendors will have specialty items for sale. Plus, there will be many tasty treats from food vendors.

- 37th Annual Fallon Cantaloupe Festival
- In addition to the main Fallon Cantaloupe Festival & Country Fair events, wonderful local produce and the many local and regional craft and specialty item vendors, there are lots of other fun and exciting activities happening all throughout the day, with something for everyone to enjoy.
